Rachael has been around horses since birth and competing in the sport of endurance for over 20 years.
As a former member of the East Cornwall Hunt Pony Club Rachael gained her C+ test qualification and competed successfully
in one-day events across the South West. Rachael was a member of the Callington School and Community College Show Jumping
Team and University of the West of England Advanced Athlete's and Female Hocky Club. Rachael represented her country as
a Young Rider in 1997, 98, 99 at two European Championships with Arabian gelding Silver Mistrahl, owned by Dr & Mrs Claridge
and trained by Rachael. Rachael worked for Mel & Bayard Fox in the summer of 2000 at Bitter Root Ranch, Wyoming, USA where
she met Linda Tellington-Jones. In 2004 Rachael and Silver Mistrahl won the FEI 3* 160km Cirencester Park Ride qualifying
them to represent Team GB at the World Endurance Championships in Dubai in 2005. In 2006 homebred Anglo Arab gelding Prince
Meliodas was used in the Monty Roberts and Kelly Marks tour as a 'loading demo'. In 2007 Rachael qualified Prince
Meliodas at the Dukeries FEI 3* 160km ride and re-joined the GBR Senior Squad. Rachael was also asked in this year to compete
on Stephane Chazel's horse at the Young Horse Championships, Uzes, S.France. During the spring of 2008 Rachael and
Prince Meliodas were involved in a road traffic accident. In 2009 Rachael rode Ina Bryer's Royal Solar Matla at the
120km FEI 2* South African International Championships in Beaufort West were she secured a Bronze 'Barbarian'
team medal. Rachael has been on many winning South West teams at Regional and Inter-regional level over the past decade and
during 2010 has qualified as a UKCC L2 accredited coach and assessor for EGB. In 2011 Rachael will commence her
L3 UKCC qualification and also stand her Stallion Silver Zenif at Stud for AI services.
